"You're looking for yourself in the library" states Ray Bradbury. This is a documentary being made about librarians, and it looks like it will address the Patriot Act as well. I'm looking forward to it. Check out this trailer. Another cheesy marketing attempt to convince young people that libraries are cool, or an insightful portrait of modern libraries and the information professionals who work in them? We'll see.

I don't know, the young people aren't rally into documentaries that are full of middle aged librarians, no matter how nicely packaged. Hopefully the makers realize this and decided to go with an insightful portrait. Few things are more embarrassing than someone trying to make the inherently stodgy into something hip.
I love the comments on the trailer, both the overexcited librarians and the few people who were apprently angry that it wasn't titillating. I wonder what they thought it was going to be? Sexy, half-naked librarians? Pff, people.
You said it.
