These were pieces of old buildings in Sydney that have been made into an artpiece, very interesting to walk around and look at. The rest of the photos are from Manly Beach, which we visited last Sunday. It is a short ferry ride from Sydney- Manly has the feel of a little beachside resort. Lots of seagulls were out, and as you can see, I couldn't resist photographing them. There was one whose leg was broken, facing the wrong way, but he was fighting for scraps as well as the rest of 'em...I affectionately referred to him as "one-leg" and watched him for some time. (Nothing like a disabled seagull to pull at your heartstrings). Although we didn't take a "water taxi" anywhere, I thought it'd be fun to share the photo with you...much like a regular taxi but built for zipping around the harbour. The photo of me leaning against a lightpost is back in Sydney, at
Martin Place.
